15Five, a performance management platform, replaced Zuora with Ordway billing — and needed CPQ and billing kept perfectly in sync across a complex pricing model.
Data sync between CPQ and Ordway without data loss. Managing data in same structure when coming from Ordway. Handling requirements with managed package constraints.
15Five, a ~$50M performance management platform, was replacing Zuora with Ordway as their billing system. The core challenge was building bidirectional data synchronization between Salesforce CPQ and Ordway without any data loss — maintaining the same data structures, handling edge cases in the managed package, and ensuring that the quote-to-cash lifecycle remained intact across both systems.
The solution required a custom Apex + Flows integration framework that handled every edge case in the bidirectional sync, including partial updates, failed transactions, and data conflicts between the two systems.
"The Bluvium team was great. We have a lot of complexity in our business and pricing model, and they were able to find creative solutions to meet our needs and went above and beyond to build solutions for us. Our systems have a host of tech debt and, unfortunately, very little internal documentation on the connections between systems — but they were always able to work through the limited knowledge to meet our needs." — Natalie Love, Sr. Director of GTM Operations, 15Five
