Quote Approval: Once a quote is approved, the Invoice Scheduler automatically generates an invoice schedule, eliminating manual intervention and ensuring timely billing.
Quote Checkbox: Sales representatives can manually create invoice schedules by toggling a checkbox on the quote detail page. This feature is particularly useful for quotes that need scheduling before approval or for the legacy quote where we need to create schedules in bulk for many quotes.
Button Action to Create Schedules: After quote approval, the ‘Generate Invoice Schedule’ button allows sales reps to create schedules effortlessly. This button is also available for other objects, providing flexibility across different use cases.
Fig. 4 – Customizable First Schedule: Sales reps can adjust the end date of the first invoice schedule to either align with the current year-end or follow the standard schedule pattern. This feature is beneficial for mid-year start dates.
Configuration Object Schema: Users can configure the Invoice Scheduler to generate schedules for any object by setting up parent and child objects and defining specific criteria.

a. Setting up your Smart Revenue App within Salesforce is simple.
i. Visit the AppExchange platform by navigating to appexchange.salesforce.com.
ii. In the search bar, enter “Invoice Schedule Preview App” and click the search icon.
iii. Locate the ” Invoice Schedule Preview App ” listing from the search results and click on
iv. On the app listing page, click the “Get It Now” button.
v. Log in to your Salesforce account using your credentials.
vi. Grant the necessary permissions to Invoice Schedule Preview App by following the prompts. Ensure that you have the required administrator privileges.
vii. Choose the Salesforce instance where you want to install the app. You may have multiple instances if you have sandboxes or development environments.
viii. Select the appropriate installation option:
Install for Admins Only: Only administrators will have access to the Invoice Schedule Preview App.
Install for All Users: All users in your Salesforce org will have access to the
Invoice Schedule Preview App. Review the terms and conditions and click the “Confirm and install” button.
ix. The installation process will begin, and you’ll be redirected to a progress page. Wait for the installation to be completed.
x. Once the installation is finished, you will receive an email confirmation from Salesforce.
xi. After installation, go to the Salesforce Setup menu.
xii. In the left sidebar, search for “Installed Package.”
xiii. You should be able to see the ” Invoice Schedule App “.
b. Installation Setup in Salesforce Org:
i. Return to your Salesforce org and navigate to the App Launcher (the nine dot grid icon) in the top-left corner.
ii. Open the App Launcher and search for ” Invoice Schedule.” Click on the app icon to launch it.
iii. The Invoice Schedule Preview App is now successfully installed and ready for setup.
